Phos Hilaron

O resplendent Light of the Holy Glory of the Immortal Father, Heavenly, Holy, blessed Jesus Christ! Having come to the setting of the sun, and seeing the light of evening, we praise God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is fitting, that at all times You should be praised by joyous voices, O Son of God, Who gave Life; for which cause the world glorifies You.
